Us companies operating in australia?

I want to move to the US. I was wondering what good companies that are in both but majoritily US owed. What jobs would i need to get to earn the right to transfer to the US. How long until i do. Please full answers. Also where to Americans hang out in Melbourne. Whats a job or skill that the us is lacking right now and what will i be able to do to ensure a working visa.
