How am I supposed to deal with work situations where I get really mean people in the workplace?

i get mean people in my workplace and then have to leave cause they threaten my job or make my life miserable, 2nd time ive had to do this, any suggestions on how to keep a job when people are making it impossible to do so, im tired of switching jobs and locations and having to live elsewhere because of abusers in the workplace. and they always refuse to fire them, any suggestions? other than packing and leaving. it seems like im always doing that, and id like to settle down, any ways they can be the ones packing instead of me, after all theyre the ones being mean. not me.

i've had this to happen to me before what can you do in matters like this!I think it's the same thing as bullying in the work force myself and people get away with it!

please don't take offense to my take and this is why I left or was terminated from 13 different jobs and basically like you said mean co-workers or people you serve. however, I had been diagnosed with a serious mental diseases as a young girl but refused to be on welfare and raise children.....i can relate to want you are saying because I only always wanted to just do my work and avoid office gossipers,i.e. the trouble makers, party goers on the job who felt it was fun to leave me who worked hard with their work while they went to parties or stayed out on 2 hour lunch breaks. using a good girl who was a very hard worker but was not sociable. I know about mean people on the job but then I got to the point where now I don't like most people anywhere...but I do have serious mental issues that I realize at this stage in life but as for my working days of which I lost many very decent paying jobs due to not being able to stand hateful co-workers
