Can torn cartlidge grow over

i was wondering if torn cartridge in the knee could grow over and heal. if not then how does someone get it fixed. and what are the bad things that could happen and what shouldn't you do. i really need to know how this can heal either its self or from surgery

Torn cartilage does re-grow, but it can very easily heal wrong. You should wrap a bandage firmly around the area to hold it together so it will heal in the right shape. You should see a doctor just in case. Chances are you will grow scar tissue and will have knee problems for probably the rest of your life.
