Zinc is one of the important trace elements in the horses body. These elements are responsible for 90 % of the enzymatic processes in the organism and due to this take part at the metabolism. The most important job of zinc (Zn) in your horse's body is to be a part of enzymes. It is a part of many important enzymes, including carboxypeptidases, which are responsible for insulin production, blood clotting, wound healing, and a whole host of other things.
