The Earth is already in the Sun's orbit. If Earth were to fall out of orbit, it would either fly into the sun and get destroyed, or fly out into into the infinite vastnes of space, and would probably hit Jupiter or something and get destroyed, but even if it managed to leave our solar system without hitting any planets, chances are that it's rotation would be altered and thus gravity would be thrown off and we would all die. Anyways, in my personal opinion, no the Earth will not be destroyed in one thousand years.
