My gas furnace comes on runs for 3minutes and cuts off then starts the same sequence again

furnace its like it cuts off and comes back on every 3 minutes

Try moving it to a bigger more open area, like the middle of a big room. It's running until the temperature around it reaches what the thermostat is set to, it clicks off. If it's in a small area, or even just too close to a wall, then the heat it exerts will cause it to hit its set temperature too soon and it will click itself off again.
