Does the SLAP CHOP actually work?

I seen it on the televvsion and it looked pretty cool should I order it?

I've had one of those things for over a decade, not the "Slap Chop" but that device, but I digress. I've seen the infomercial for them, but let me tell you, a) you won't use it as often as they make it sound, and b) it's a MAJOR pain in the butt to clean. Oh and one more thing, things get stuck between the blades all the time, so after a few slaps, you have to pick some stuff out with a fork, and then slap a few more times, and repeat. It's fun to use and works well, but at the same time it's a pain in the butt.
