there is a staue of limitations on felonies, but not on rape, murder, and crimes thats got to do with harming someone, if you was charged federally there isnt a statue of limitation, this is the trick if you were bought before the court on the charge yes, it still stands, if they havent had a chance to bring you in front of the judge in 10 years, you might be hiding for nothing, best bet is to contact your county clerk and ask if you have any pending, or open charges and they would tell you right over the phone, dont alert them why you want to know just tell them you are applying for a new job and you don't want to lie on the application, you might not have a new charge, but the violation would still stand,to be honest i ran for 7 years on a violation and when they finally bought me in front of the judge i got a lawyer, and the whole case was dropped because, i didnt have a paper trail for 7 years and that told the judge i wasnt getting in any trouble, like i say check with the courts, and if you dont have the new charge, get a lawyer and take the violation back to court, i havent been back since."BE EASY " handle your business
