Can you have intercourse with having epididymo-orchitis?

I am married and sexually active at age 51. I have been diagnosed with Epididymo-Orchitis. Is it possible for my wife and I to have intercourse while being treated for this infection?

I would use a condom because there may be a possibility of you ejaculating either infected body fluids or ejaculate containing pus from the infection. Otherwise, if you are taking antibiotics then wait until the whole course has finished and your symptoms have gone.
