How do you take disk error off of your mp4

Sounds like you may need to simply update the firmware on the device to replace the necessary files. Though you may lose all the media data you had on your device. Not entirely sure about that.

Mp4 is a file extension, not a media player.
If you're getting a disc error from an MP4 that's on a dvd, first try cleaning the disc. Take a slightly damp cloth, place it on a flat surface on like a towel or something so the top doesn't get scratched, and with a little pressure just clean the bottom vigorously. If you're getting a hard drive disk error when trying to play an MP4 on your computer, then it's probably a corrupt file. You should try to re-acquire it from the source you originally got it from.
