In-Game sounds through Laptop Speakers, Ventrilo voice chat through Headset, possible?

I just got a new Steelseries 5h V2 headset for Xmas.
Now, the point of me getting this was to listen to Vent (while raiding in WOW) through the headset, and still hear the in-game sounds through my laptop speakers. (Instead of hearing both through the laptop).
So, I set up the headset, but the ingame sounds and ventrilo are both coming through the headset
how do i make it so ventrilo comes through the headset, and wow comes through the speakers?

I don't think this is possible. It's a matter of audio output devices, and you gotta choose one or the other.
