CD drive is not correctly reading?

i am having troubles with my cd correctly reading game disks and whatnot. Whenever i put in something like for example SPORE, I have to click on the cd drive, and go to the installer or autorun. Why is this happening and how do I fix it? I recently put in a WoW disk except for there was no immediate installer. What's happening?
