How to use my Steelseries 5h V2 Headset?

I just got a Steelseries 5h V2 Headset, NOT the USB connected one.
It has 2 jacks that plug into the front of my laptop.
Anyways, how do I set this up to work with Ventrilo?

If it came with instructions, read the instructions. Other than that, it really should just be plug-in and go, you shouldn't have to do anything special. If you're having a specific problem, then ask that.

well i got it to work
another issue came up
now my ingame sounds are playing thru headset
i want ingame sounds thru speakers and vent from headset
the ingame sounds only come out of my speakers if i unplug headset
