my cell was in a glass of 7up for about 20 minutes. i can get calls in. but i can got dail out are get any of my numbers. can not see anything on screen.

Well first of all, you're a moron for having your cellphone in a glass of 7 up for 20 minutes. Now granted, I don't know the situation, it may have been an accident, but there's no reason for it to have been in there for TWENTY MINUTES. Anyways, in a situation like this, it's not the moisture that's the issue. Well soaking for 20 minutes, it is, but the point is, if it just got a little wet with pure filtered water, there'd be no problem. You screwed up by soaking your phone in soda for 20 minutes, now you pay the price of having to get a new phone. Your actions have consequences, now suffer them.
