98 Mustang GT won't start.

The car has 45,000 miles on it, and has never had any problem starting.
This morning the engine would only turn over but never even try to start.
I tried it in park and neutral, but still nothing.
Has anyone had this experience?

this has happened to me but not with a 98 mustang GT, things i would check:

Did you leave your lights on by accident? (battery could have died)
where you hitting the gas while starting? (flooded)
if neither of those, i dont know what the problem would be.
it could even be a wiring problem (but u said it has never had any problems)
