boycotting Macys - had to call them to resolve a billing discrepancy (which was their mistake - & had been told it been resolved 2 months ago) after waiting on hold for over 5 mins. I was connected to a call center in India. The connection was horrible and the gentleman's accent very thick. He could barely understand me & I him - we both had to continually repeat ourselves. I asked if It was possible to talk to an American call center - apparently he heard that because he promptly hung up on me. I've been left with a sour taste in my mouth. In these difficult economic times an American institution could shell out a little money to give Americans jobs at a call center.
