My laptop quit turning on, says battery low even though i have it plugged into wall outlet
It sounds to me like the power adapter isn't working. Is there any indication that the laptop is plugged in (when it is plugged in)?

take the battery out and try to start it on just power. If not you may have a bad powersupply. Try another. Acers are known to have power issues. If the power supply is good your motherboard maybe shot. Time for a new one if it is. Acer out of warranty support sucks.
