Can spinal anesthesia and a be used instead of general anesthesia. For a laprascopic adrenalectomy

I may have to have laparoscopic surgery to remove my right adrenal gland. I suffer from adverse reactions to general anesthesia that I would like to avoid. And I was wondering if it was possible to do the procedure with spinal anesthesia and a mild sedative instead

I wouldn't recommend because with spinal anesthesia sometimes anesthesia isn't reached so you just end up having to have general anesthesia anyways. Good luck with your surgery!
