Where is a good place to move to in Canada?

My dad was born in Ottawa, so i was thinking there. Some place like a city where i wouldn't have to worry about driving. i could get around by walking or riding a bike or public transit. everything is near by and with decent job opportunities that dont require secondary schooling.

Red Deer, Alberta. Its not a super small town but its not so huge that you need to get a vehicle. I don't live there but I plan to when i graduate.

Saint John, New Brunswick is a sort of medium sized town, large for where it is, and many people don't use vehicles. There's a bus system, enclosed walking system almost everywhere up-town, and a university and all kinds of shopping and cool people. Good for biking too, but a bit hilly.
