What is the smallest number that leaves a remainder of 1 when divided by 2,3,4,5 or 6?

all of these if divided by themselves will = 1
so 2/2=1

He said REMAINDER. Try reading the question next time.
The remainder is pretty much everything in the resulting number, after a decimal. So if you take .2 and divide by 2, then you get .1, otherwise known as 0 remainder 1.
