Eggs every morning or cereal whats good / bad?

A healthier choice in the long run. Husband eats eggs every morning i choose cereal. In the long run I believe my choice is better but what about his egg eating?

Well the best thing you can do is eat both. See, eggs, though high in cholesterol, are high in many other things that are good for your body (aside from just protein). Lots of Vitamins A, B, and E, folate, and riboflavin, as well as a few other things. Furthermore, the calories in the egg are used to fuel you for the day, so it's good for starting your day. Cereal is good because it has various vitamins, minerals, and sometimes fiber too. That's why on TV, in the cereal commercials, they say, "Part of a well balanced breakfast." So it's good to have one or two eggs, and a bowl of cereal too. So the bottom line is, you're both right, and both wrong.

eggs are bad for youre cholestrol. cereal is good. cereal has vitamin a,b.and c cereal has fiber minerals and also the milk is good for your calcium.

Cholesterol or not, eggs contain lots of important nutrients that are vital for your body.
a egg has a lot more energy than cereals. but cereals are good to but not like froot loops or something that have sugar in them.rice kirispices are also goood. only the whole grain cereals are good.

eggs are good for you but cereal can have fiber,whole grain,and the milk in it has calciumalso.

Maybe talk to him, as having "Egg" every morning is to much fat and grease (depends on the way he cooks it) Certainly cereal is more healthier as it is the important meal of the day as it gets you started (other terms "brian power") So what I would do is speak to him about your concern and maybe ask him to reduce the amount he eats? Dont get me wrong Egg is lovely but too much can have an effect on your later life. "Everything is good for you in moderation" Scientists say or so I was told.

Both eggs and cereal are good for you, eggs have protein and cereal is a grain that you need ( depends on what cereal though ) I guess you both are tied!

Look at cereal box and you will see they are packed with sugar. Sugar is one of life's evils! Eggs are full of natural vitamins and protein. Much better for you and you'll probably consume less calories too.

No question too much sugar is not a good thing but sugar is one of many carbohydrates, an essential energy producing nutrient, not one of "life's evils." Both eggs and sugar are good for you in normal amounts, the problem is, "too much of a good thing" becomes a bad thing. :-)
