a nice way to do that is to:

a.give them bait (like some polite points)
b.be slightly stern, but dont use a very angry face (kindergateners get scared easy and become nervous)
c.teach them simple things and make it seem like somthing hard so they feel better than every1 else ( they think there all that, but atleast they do somthing with it)

Play games about manners. You can also read books about them with pictures. You also can play guessing games and give treats so they become to look forward to the questions and games. Hope i helped you! have a great day! :) :) :) :) :)

Manners are more the parents job than the teachers. But I'm all for them teaching it in school since obviously most adults don't have them, much less want to teach them too their kids. Use a good behavior point system. After they've gotten so many points, they get a treat. Like a piece of candy, or to pick a book at reading time! This will encourage them. When they learn that good things happen when they behave appropriately then they'll want to be polite and use their manners!
