Discuss two ways of improving job performance

For each approach, be sure to indicate how the method is supposed to work and under what conditions it is best used. Discuss any potential limitations as well.

Two methods:

1. Know more about the details of the product or service than anybody else in the organization.

2. Ignore all of the intra-organizational squabbles and focus on getting the job done.

Limitations:

When everybody else goes to the training seminar, you'll have to teach it.
