I want to install a 4" submersible pump in a 4" casing. Do I need a screen on the casing or will the screen on the pump be all I need?

Screen for water well
I don't think you need it, but a screen on the casing should help protect it better helping it to last longer, so it wouldn't hurt to put one on anyways. Besides, better safe than sorry.
