Does Dell have anything to do with "Sonic Manager"?
I think you mean "Sonic Update Manager", am I right? It's not a full software application, it comes along with a software called Sonic RecordNow.
To solve this problem, you can simply open your Control Panel, and click the "Add/Remove Programs" icon, find the Sonic Update Manager and uninstall it.
