How do you copy protect DVD's that you burn yourself, so that they can not be copied?

I am a photographer and i have started doing DVD slide shows and DVD videos for someof my customers and would like to know how to copy protect them so that they can not be copied

if you could encript or embed your own dvd, how would you copy them yourself.
i am pretty much green and a non-professional but I would like to know myself.
Really if you think about it you can't. If you could then all the producers, directors, etc. would be doing it to all the top movies out there on DVD but they can't and people are still ripping them. Good luck!
