I am so confused. Why do we feel that the government should bail us out of credit card debt?

When you went charging "crazy", exactly how did you expect to pay these bills? And why should someone/anyone help you out? For the life of me I can't figure this out!

I know what you mean, I hate people who get themselves into trouble and expect others to fix things for them. "I decided to have 5 kids when I was 14, now all of you on the internet send me money so I can pay my bills? Oh by the way I'm too lazy to get a job. Thanks." It's like, how stupid do you have to be? You go get a credit card and think it's some magical money machine, and go buy a bunch of crap you don't need, then you're in huge debt and you want the banks and government to give you money? What are you offering to society? I hate worthless people like that.
