Question about Sat Nav for iPhone

If I get Sat Nav on iPhone, I break or lose the phone. Can it be saved on computer to download onto new iPhone?

I can read a map and I use Map Quest so I've never used a sat nav system or a phone app, but your iPhone App goes with the Nav service that you pay for in addition to your cell phone charges, so there's no worry there.

If you lose the phone just make sure you have insurance on it, your cell phone retailer can sell that to you as part of your service agreement.
